Contribute to acheiving an all-inclusive, healthy community primarily by developing or fostering accessible, affordable, quality and sustainable housing that supports local needs and helps renew neighborhoods.

WHO WE ARE

North End Housing Project Inc. grew out of community meetings involving local organizations and citizens in response to the pressing need for decent housing and neighborhood renewal in the deteriorating north end of Winnipeg. NEHP is a registered charitable non-profit organization committed to the provision of affordable housing.

Restoring neighborhood housing is the central mission. Our focus is also on social development in the neighborhoods in which we work. NEHP has sponsored on the job training programs, community gardens and neighborhood street parties.

Strengthening and reinforcing the community and local economy are integral componants of the NEHP approach. When possible the subcontracting and material purchases are done locally.
